Hello again, Stampin' Friends!

I hope you had a good day today; the sun did try it's best to come out today, occasionally winning the battle against the clouds!

Before I share my card with my other 'favourite' thing – I just wanted to remind you that I have my Stamp Set of the Month Club, which is perfect for you if you don't have the time to come to classes, but really miss your stamping time.  Or maybe you love to buy new stamps, but then you can't figure out what to do with them!

With the Stamp Set of the Month Club, you get a full stamp set (your choice of clear or wood mount), plus you get 3 completed samples, (sometimes 3 cards, or 2 cards & a 3D item), plus all the supplies needed to make the same 3 projects, plus complete step-by-step instructions on how to put them together.  Easy peasy!  All you supply is the adhesives and inks – and you can get creative and make the cards in your own style – no one's going to stop you from following your inner creative genius!

This month's stamp set is the gorgeous 'Elements of Style' – I think this set is perfectly named!  It's stylish, elegant, can be used for lots of different occasions, and will never go out of style.

Here are the 3 projects for this month – 2 cards, and a gift box made with the (now retired) Pillow Box die.  You will receive the pillow box already cut out for you!

To check out the pricing and ordering information, just click on the 'Stamp Set of the Month' button at the top of the page.  You'll love having your ready-for-you projects delivered to you every month!

Now, here is the card I made using one of the stamp sets only available during Sale-a-bration; it's called 'Bloomin' Marvelous' , and it really is just that – marvelous!  It has 4 image stamps and 3 sentiment stamps, making it very versatile.  But remember – you can only get it during Sale-a-bration, with any order of $60.  Hurry – this special ends on March 22nd!

Stamps: Bloomin' Marvelous (SAB #129654(c) #129651 (w))

Cardstock: Whisper White, (#100730), Pool Party (#122924), Pretty in Pink (#100459)

Inks: Pool Party (#126982), Pretty in Pink (#126955), Gumball Green (#126861)

Tools: 2 1/2" Circle Punch (#120906), Boho Blossoms Punch (#119858), Honeycomb Embossing Folder (#129378)

First I embossed the Whisper White card base with the Honeycomb embossing folder. Then using the 2 1/2" circle punch, I punched the circle and stamped the flowers and leaves in a random pattern using Pretty in Pink, Pool Party and Gumball Green.  Before stamping the image, I would 'stamp off' some of the ink onto scrap paper, to keep the image soft.  I then stamped the sentiment on top, also in Pool Party.  For the flowers I used the Boho Blossoms punch, using just the smallest flower.  The centres I punched out with the Crop-o-dile.  The hummingbird was stamped in Pool Party ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then cut out by hand.  I popped all the layers up with dimensionals onto the card base.

I think that the soft colours give it a nice springtime like feel – what do you think?

I hope you've enjoyed seeing 2 of my favourite things – the Swallowtail butterfly yesterday, and the hummingbird in the Bloomin' Marvelous set today (did you notice that the Stamp Set of the Month, Elements of Style, has a hummingbird too?!)

What are some of your favourite things?  I'd love to read your comments, and if you have a card you'd like to share, email it to me at debsmart@shaw.ca, and I could share it here on my blog!

In the meantime – give me a call or email to book your party so you can earn your FREE Sale-a-bration products, or to place your order.

Looking forward to hearing from you – Happy Stampin'!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
