Hello my friend!  Thanks for stopping by today 🙂

I had the chance last week to spend some time with a friend & former Team Member, Debbie, and do some crafting!  It’s always such fun to craft with a friend; sharing stories, laughing when things don’t go ‘exactly’ as planned…. We each had our April Paper Pumpkin kit to work on, and we were so excited to put it together!

This kit also contained a special ‘thank you’ gift from Stampin’ Up!; they had just shipped their 1 MILLIONTH Paper Pumpkin kit in March, and so they included a free stamp set in each April kit.

This is the free stamp set; I just love the sayings in it!

I really like how you can combine the ‘everything’ and ‘is going to be alright’; I think I’ll  use that a lot.  And the flowers are too cute!  I haven’t inked up my set yet, as you can tell, but I’ll be using it this week.

This is the stamp set that is used for the kit:

The April kit included everything to make one of these adorable wreaths:

It came with the styrofoam wreath form, all of the leaves in strips with adhesive already applied (!), the little chalkboard, and lots of extra black cardstock so that you can change up the sentiments to put in your wreath, or use them as tags.  The kit also came with a little Very Vanilla Craft Ink spot – woohoo!!  That is exclusive to Paper Pumpkin!

Even with our chatting & laughing, I think Debbie  & I still managed to put together our wreaths in about half an hour (okay, I was doing more talking, so I think I took about 40 minutes!).

Here is a picture of Debbie with her completed wreath – she was really pleased with it, and did a great job 🙂

I just love how even after I’ve finished making the project kit, I always have leftover product to use to make more cards or projects, plus the ink spot, plus the stamp set!  It’s good value for the money, when you think of all you get, and keep for future use, in each kit.

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
