Are you up for a challenge?
Then come along and join the Paper Craft Crew Design Team in this week’s Tic-Tac-Toe challenge!
Talk about a lot of design options to choose from! All you have to do is choose one line; either horizontal, vertical or diagonal; and include each of the 3 elements in your design. I chose to go diagonal, from the bottom left. So my design includes Add a Little Sparkle, Summer Celebrations, and Cake.
Birthday Memories Suite
This is my first time using products from the Birthday Memories Suite! I was so happy when it became available to order; I just love all of the fun images in the Birthday Delivery stamp set, and on the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper. There’s 2 awesome bonuses in this suite; first, you can purchase the Bundle, which includes the stamp set, Birthday Friends Framelits, AND the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper! All that at a 10% discount off the combined prices! The 2nd awesome bonus is that the Framelits also match images in the DSP – which means you’re life just got easier and cuter – cutting the images!
Details
I stayed with the primary colours in the DSP. My card base is Pacific Point and the layered cardstock is Real Red and Whisper White. The baker is stamped in Memento Black ink, and coloured using Blender Pens and ink pads in Pacific Point and Real Red. Then using my Big Shot and the Birthday Friends Framelits, I die cut the baker, then die cut the cake – from the DSP! The panel behind the cake is also from the Birthday Memories DSP.
I stamped the banner from the Birthday Delivery stamp set in Pacific Point, then layered the sentiment inside it in Real Red ink. It’s terrific how the sentiment stamp is already curved to fit inside the banner 🙂 After die cutting the banner, all the pieces are layered onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
So obviously, my ‘summer celebration’ is a birthday (actually, the cake could be for any celebration), and you can see the ‘cake’! For the ‘add a little sparkle’, I used the Glimmer Enamel Dots.
I also added some Wink of Stella Clear onto the baker’s buttons, candle flames and shoes, but you can’t really see it in the picture. I had a lot of fun layering all the pieces on this card.
