Best Way to Spend Five Dollars

Hey stamping friend!  Today I’m going to share with you the best way to spend Five Dollars – yup $5 – on Stampin’ Up! supplies.

Have you ever been working on a card – and of course it’s a masterpiece that you’ve spent ages working on – only to find that you’ve smudged the liquid glue?  Of course it’s in a place where you can’t use the usual fix.  Putting an embellishment over the smudge just won’t work!

Well, I’m here to tell you that the best way to spend five dollars on a product for your basic tool kit; order the Adhesive Remover!

Best Way to Spend Five Dollars

What is the Adhesive Remover

Its a life saver, that’s what it is! 🙂  his 2″ x 2″ square has saved my butt – and projects – many times!  It works just like an eraser.  You simply rub over the adhesive smudge, and voila – it’s gone!

How To Use the Adhesive Remover

  • When you notice a smudge left from the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, first make sure that the glue is dry! Trying to remove wet glue will smear it around.
  • Rub the Adhesive Remover over the dried glue, as you would use a regular pencil eraser.  I do find that rubbing in one direction can be a bit quicker than in 2 directions, but both methods work.
  • A couple of rubs should do the trick; too many times, and you may start to break down the fibers of the cardstock.
  • When the edges of your Adhesive Remover start to get ‘yucky’ looking – because of the adhesive residue it’s picked up – that’s normal.  All you have to do is use a pair of scissors (not your paper snips!) and cut away the yucky part – and keep  on using it!

When Not to Use the Adhesive Remover

Personally, I find that it works best on the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I’ve had no luck when using it with the Fine Tip Glue Pen or the residue left from a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I’ve had limited luck using it on residue from the SNAIL Adhesive. I’d love to hear your feedback if you’ve found any tricks that work for you!

How to Order the Adhesive Remover

I’m glad you asked!  You can place your order online HERE, or click on the image below.  And by the way – the cost is actually only $4.75 – so it really is the best way to spend five dollars – or under!

Of course you can add whatever other supplies you need to your order as well. Stampin’ Up! offers a lot of different adhesives, so if you’d like, I can do another post on when to use what type of adhesive.  Leave me a comment if you’d like this information!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
