Well, I have to admit – after the Leadership conference, Stampin' Up! did tell us that, as this is their 25th Anniversary year, there would be a lot of new things, and announcements – but wowza! this is a lot!

Today's announcement will make a lot of people happy, and will all of us something new to try – starting today, March 1st and once per month for an unknown period of time, Stampin' Up! is releasing a new type of stamp set – PHOTOPOLYMER STAMPS!

Okay – so what's that, you say?  Photopolymer is the ultra clear (as in see-through) ultra clingy clear stamp that can be used on the clear mount blocks.  A lot of people love these types of stamps because they're very easy to line up, you don't have to use a Stamp-a-ma-Jig (but I'm just getting the hang of mine!) and the price point is generally lower.

Here's a look at this month's set, called 'Designer Type' – it has 57 pieces (yup, 57!) and sells for $16.95 (item #132956)

And here's what Stampin' Up! has to say about the new photopolymer:

Use this exclusive photopolymer alphabet set (with extras!) for titles or embellishments on scrapbook pages, cards, or any type of project. We recommend clear block sizes A, B, G, F, and I (not included in the set).

Our photopolymer stamps offer a versatile all-clear stamping option. You’ll find that our photopolymer is top-quality and give a perfectly stamped image every time. The stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks and are easy to place just where you want them. And best of all, you get to enjoy tons of images for a great price!

Stampin' Up! has said that there is no 'set time frame' for how long these stamps will be available; these photopolymer stamps will be issued on a trial basis, so it all depends on the feedback as to how you, the customer like them, and how well they sell.

Also released today is this month's 'Best Of..' stamp set – this month is 'Best of Flowers' – and they're beautiful!

 This set is item #133342, is available in clear mount only (not photopolymer) and is priced at $17.95.  The new, never before seen stamp in this set is in the bottom right-hand corner, and it coordinates perfectly with our 1 1/4" scallop punch (item #127811 $21.95 carryover from the holiday catalogue).  Springtime is the perfect time for flower stamps, don't you think?!

And last  – but certainly not least – Stampin' Up! is now offering ON-LINE CLASSES!  That's right – you can purchase online classes – you download them onto your computer (no shipping charge! yay!), and you can view them whenever you have time!

The first set of online classes is called 'The Basics'.  And it is just that – it's perfect for the new stamper, or for someone who is just returning to stamping, or if there are some techniques that you haven't quite gotten the hang of – this is for you!  It's a perfect compliment to classes that you can take with me – either for more 'homework', or if you're not able to attend the class at the scheduled time.

I purchased this downloadable class, so that I could see first-hand what you'd be getting, and I think that it's worth your money and time, if you fall into the categories above, or like I said, just looking to refresh your techniques, or learn some you haven't tried before.

This is what's included in 'The Basics' online class:

This class offers innovative ways to get the most out of your supplies (from stamps to the Big Shot) with clever tips and all the techniques you need to start creating with success. Divided into six PDF documents this class includes written instructions, step out photos, a few videos, and supply lists for 30+ projects.

The following topics are covered in the class:
* Basic Stamping
* Embossing
* Masking
* Stamp-a-ma-jig
* Watercoloring and Markers
* Big Shot Basics

Each PDF document has step-by-step instructions, plus a supply list for the project.  That way, if you want to make that exact project – or at least try that technique – you'll know exactly what to order from me, to do so!

Of course, I'm always here to help you with your selections and to answer questions, and provide guideance.

These online classes are meant to compliment, not replace me, as your demonstrator!

So – if you want 'em – get 'em while they're here!  Just click on the 'Order Online' button on the right side of my blog and shop away! 🙂

Now is a good time to shop, because Sale-a-bration ends in only 21 days!!

That's a lot of news – I hope you've enjoyed reading – make sure you take some time to browse through my online store, have a look at the new goodies yourself, and let me know what you think!  I look forward to helping you with your stamping choices!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
