Hello again, stamping friends!

Two posts in one day – alert the media! 🙂   I wanted to come back today to share a card for the CCMC358 – colour challenge with Create with Connie and Mary.

This card is actually doing ‘double duty’; I saw the challenge, and decided to incorporate it into my customer Thank You cards (spoiler alert, ladies!)

Here is the challenge:

This is how I incorporated these colours into my cards:

ccmc358 thank you cards

I started with a cardstock base of Lost Lagoon, then layered a panel of So Saffron cardstock on top of that.  I used the Perpetual Calendar stamp set to make my own designer background on Whisper White cardstock in Hello Honey and So Saffron inks; don’t those little flowers look cute?!

I then stamped the sentiment from Fabulous Four in Lost Lagoon ink onto Whisper White cardstock, and layered it on top of panels of So Saffron and Lost Lagoon cardstock.  Before layering the sentiments onto the stamped base, I wrapped a piece of retired So Saffron ribbon on the left side, to finish off the card.

Here are the bunch of cards I had to make –

thank you cards

I had to get them all ready to go, because Mr. Brown made a big delivery today!

open house delivery

Woohoo!!  That’s lots of order sorting to do!  These were just delivered for my wonderful customers – a lot who attended my open house new catalogue kick-off party last weekend 🙂

I hope you’ll head over to the Create with Connie and Mary page, and see the wonderful cards made by the design team – and of course the cards made by those of us entering the challenge!

Thanks for stopping in again – I’m off to sort orders 🙂

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I often tuck a note inside, instead of signing the card – that way, they can pass it on when they need to 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting, and your kind comment.
