Chuffed to Bits

I have some projects on the go right now, so I was wondering what I was going to share for today’s post. While I was thinking, I thought I’d check Facebook for anything new or funny. Well, you can only imagine my surprise to read on the Brusho Fun group I’m in, that one of my paintings was voted to be the next month’s header image! Chuffed to bits, I am, and quite surprised. There are so many talented artists in this group, and to know that a group of them voted for my painting – well, it’s quite an honour.

BRUSHO LANDSCAPE

I had shared this painting with you in THIS POST. It’s the one that I entered to be considered for the next month’s header image. Of course, I saw the other beautiful paintings that were also submitted, but I thought nothing is to be gained if I don’t try!

Chuffed to Bits

This painting was done on a 5″ x 7″ piece of watercolour paper. The surprising part is that only one colour was used – Brusho Black! I love how the different colours separate, and the inks bloom into the wet paper.

If you like to use Brusho Crystal Colours to paint with, you should consider joining the Brusho Fun group on Facebook! It’s a wonderful group of supportive, sharing people. There’s also sharing of techniques, tutorials and tips, for free.

Thank you to you, dear friend, for reading my blog, and giving me feedback. With your encouragement, I was brave enough to submit this painting for consideration. And, I’ve been busy adding items to my Shop 🙂

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
