Happy Tuesday, everyone! Well, we made it through Monday 😉
I’m here today to share a card I made for the latest Create with Connie and Mary Challenge – CCMC347. It is such a fun sketch, I had trouble narrowing down what stamp set I wanted to use with it!
Here’s the sketch:
Which stamp set do you think you would use? Well, I decided to use a set from the Annual Catalogue that I haven’t used in a while – it’s called Giggle Greetings, and suits my sense of humour 🙂
Look at that face!! Tongue sticking out, hairball on the floor in front of him… If you’re wondering what on earth he’s thinking – here’s the sentiment, on the inside of the card:
LOL!! I know quite a few people who feel this way about their birthdays 😉
I chose the Birthday Bash Designer Series paper to start with; it’s so cheery & bright – the exact opposite of the cat! I used the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch to punch a hole to frame the cat, who I stamped onto Whisper White cardstock and coloured with my Stampin’ Write Markers in Smoky Slate, Blushing Bride, and Soft Sky. I made a circle frame from Calypso Coral cardstock by 1st punching a 1 3/4″ circle, then punching around that with the 2″ Circle Punch. I chose to use Calypso Coral as that’s what I chose for the card base.
Well, I hope you enjoyed seeing my card – and if you have a birthday soon, enjoy it more than this cat! I also hope you’ll head on over to the Create with Connie and Mary challenge page and check out the design team’s cards, and the other cards submitted for this challenge – it’s a feast for the eyes!
Of course, I’d appreciate if you’d leave me a quick comment before you go – thanks so much for visiting today! I’ll be back tomorrow with more sharing.
Until next time – happy stamping!
Haha – that cat looks so unimpressed! Great card – I like the way you’ve used the word bubble for the sentiment inside. Very creative. 🙂
