Countdown to New Catalogue - Day 2

Welcome to day 2, of my countdown to the new Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalogue! Since illness is keeping me from holding my annual kick off party this weekend, I’m sharing with you here.  Be sure to visit and leave a comment on each blog post between Tuesday May 29th and Friday June 1st. Everyone who comments every day will be entered into a prize draw!

Today, I’m sharing a card made with the Share What You Love Suite of products. Until May 31st, you can purchase exclusive Bundles of these products. Not only are the prices and bundles exclusive to this pre-release offer, but so are the FREE product you receive in each bundle!

These images show what is included in each Bundle. To order them, you can click on the images, and order directly from my online store!

The Gotta Have it All Bundle includes the Stampin’ Up! Statement of My Heart single stamp. It is the company’s statement, and it says:

Countdown to New Catalogue - Day 2

This lovely display was created by Lynn K., one of my team members.

Here is my card, which uses the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Countdown to New Catalogue - Day 2Colour coordination is made easy – just pull the colours from those used in the Designer Series Paper!

Use the Big Shot with the Lovely Floral Dynamic TIEF, and emboss a  panel of Crumb Cake cardstock. Cut a 2″ wide strip of the Share What You Love DSP, and attach it to the left side of the embossed cardstock. Cover the join by adding a length of Rich Razzleberry 1/4″ Velvet Ribbon; hold it in place using Tear & Tape.

Now cut a panel of Mossy Meadow cardstock, and attach the embossed panel on top, with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Cut a card base from Rich Razzleberry cardstock, and attach the front panel with more Dimensionals.

Select a die-cut label from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit. Stamp the ‘thank you’ from the Love What You Do stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink. Now attach the sentiment at the bottom of the card front, slightly offset to the right. I left it without adding embellishments, but you could add a few of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to either the upper corner, or onto the sentiment, if you like.

The subtle embossing on the Crumb Cake cardstock, combined with pulling in the colours from the DSP, add a quiet elegance to this card.

With most ‘thank you’ cards, I don’t usually add a stamped sentiment inside. But that doesn’t mean you should leave it plain – stamp another image from the Love What You Do stamp set!

Continue your understated elegance by adding a Whisper White cardstock panel inside the card. Stamp one of the small floral stems in Rich Razzleberry ink to the lower right hand corner of the panel.

You can either order the Bundles I shared above before May 31st, or you can order the individual items I used on June 1st and after. Just remember- the Bundles expire May 31st, along with their exclusive combination, pricing and free items.

You can shop 24/7 in my online store – just click the product images below! If you’d rather have me place your order for you, click on the ’email Deb’ button in the sidebar – I’m always happy to help!

Remember to comment daily on my post from yesterday, May 29th through (and including) Friday June 1st, to be entered to win a prize! 🙂

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)
