Welcome to Thursday, my friend! It’s that ‘we’re over the hump, but not quite at the weekend’ kinda day. The kind of day to stay inside, with a good book. Like a cozy introvert! For today’s project I combined 2 different stamp sets for some humour.
I TALKED TO PEOPLE YESTERDAY…
The images in the MFT Cozy Companions set are so cute! I’d love to be in the same room with them. I feel like the ‘get’ me. So adding the sentiments from the Impression Obsession Introverting set seemed perfect!
This is so me! I’ve talked to people yesterday, so no need to go do it again today! LOL I’m really not anti-social; I just am quite comfortable with myself. And when I do socialize, I then feel the need to recharge the next day, with some alone time. (reading books count as alone time).
CARD DETAILS
On a piece of smooth white cardstock, stamp the fox and lamp images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Now you can use your favourite medium for colouring. I have an assortment of different brands of alcohol markers. They play well together, so I just choose the colours that I want, and don’t worry about mixing. I decided to add a little metallic to the lamp, and used a Krylon gold leafing pen on small parts of it.
When the colouring is done, use the coordinating Cozy Companions dies to die cut the images. Set those aside, while you create your background.
On a light blue card base, attach a patterned paper, to mimic wallpaper. Next, attach a piece of wood-look paper, for the floor. Now you can attach the die cut pieces, using foam tape or squares. Stamp the 2 sentiments from the iO Introverting set in Tuxedo Black onto white cardstock, and cut them out. Attach them to 2 pieces of the wood look paper, as if they are in picture frames. Next, attach them to the ‘wall’ above the fox.
Doesn’t that look like a great place to sit & read? That fox has the right idea 🙂

I can totally relate to this card! So cute – but so “introvertish.”
I think it’s not too surprising to find a lot of makers are ‘intovertish’! 😉
I love those blues! They are such pretty colors. I am with you. Two is enough!
Glad that you like it, Susan! I thought that the blue looked like a wallpaper… 🙂
