Ear-Resistable Cute Bunnies!

I love cute animals, both in real life, and in stamps! These ear-resistably cute bunnies are from My Favorite Things (MFT) in the Sweet Somebunny stamp set. There of course is also a coordinating die set. And you know what I always say – one simply does NOT buy the stamp set without the matching dies! Save yourself the aggravation, and buy them at the same time *you’re welcome*. Another bonus – this set coordinates perfectly with the Beach Bunnies set (which I already own)!

I also love puns, so when I saw that MFT had worked in a pun for me, well – add to cart!

Ear-resistably Cute Bunnies!

And seriously – a car driving bunny?! Well, yeah! How stinkin’ cute can you get, right?

Start by stamping your images from the Sweet Somebunny stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto white cardstock. Colour with your favourite markers or pencils; I used my Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. Once you’re finished colouring, use the matching Sweet Somebunny dies & die cut the images.  Set them aside, while you create your card front panel.

Die cut a strip of gray cardstock, and add white lines down the middle, to create a road. Cut a wide panel of green cardstock, and use the Lawn Fawn Grassy Borders die to create grass on the top edge. Attach the road in the middle of the grass panel with liquid glue. Before attaching your road and grass, make a light pencil mark where the top of the grass will be, on a panel of white cardstock.

At this pencil mark, stamp the city image from The Ton Vogue Skies stamp set in a dark gray ink. Now you can attach the grass/road strip to the bottom of the panel, with liquid ink.

Create a blue sky with Broken China Distress Oxide ink, applied with your Life Changing Blender Brush. When finished, attach all of your die cut images, with foam tape or squares. For the flowers at the bottom, I used a combination of foam squares and liquid glue, for added dimension.

Finally, stamp the sentiment from the Sweet Somebunny stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a strip of white cardstock, and attach it with foam tape.

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)
