Fun with Burlap & Blooms Wreath

I hope you're having a good weekend, and staying warm & dry, wherever you are.

Last night was such fun with the gals making their wreaths using the Burlap and Blooms Wreath Kit! If you're not familiar with the kit, it's awesome; it comes with everything you need (except the glue gun) to put your wreath together, including different types of flowers, the burlap wrap and the wreath form itself.

It's a great value for the price, and while it comes with instructions you can follow to have it turn out like the picutre on the packaging, you can customize it to suit your own home decor!

Susan and Debbie worked very hard on their wreaths, as you can see here –

A glue gun is a must have to put your wreath together!! You want your wreath to stay together nicely, without drooping flowers, as it brightens your home, so you need to ensure that everything is well adhered!

Here's how I completed my wreath:

I chose to add in some ribbon, and some butterflies made with the Elegant Butterfly Punch (#127526 #21.95), Beautiful Wings Embosslits (#118138 $14.95) and the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die (#114507 $26.95)

Okay – they're getting near the end here (we broke for refreshments, and came back ready to rock!)

As Debbie put the finishing touches on her wreath, Susan posed with her beautiful wreath!

You can see that Susan added lots of butterflies, and decided that she liked the 'loopy' flowers the best, and focused on those on her wreath. I love how she used the buttons on the hanging loop! 🙂

Debbie's wreath is just as beautiful, and yet you can see they look quite different.

This is what I mean about being able to customize a kit to suit your own personality and home decor; Susan and Debbie both used the same supplies, same kit, but made their wreaths they way they wanted them to look. Which is perfect!!

And of course, we had lots of fun and laughs!
