Get Ready for 2021

Okay, I know – we’re not at the end of 2020 yet! I’m sure I’m not the only one who wishes that we were, though. It’s not been the best year, that’s for sure. But here’s something you can look forward to, as you get ready for 2021. There’s a Lavinia Stamps 2021 Calendar, with gorgeous Lavinia images!  Here’s a look at the front & back.

Now take a better look at each of the 12 images, one for each month!

Get Ready for 2021

Are these gorgeous, or what? A person could be happy just looking at their calendar – no matter what is happening that month or year.

Are you like me, and hate throwing out a beautiful calendar? Yes, I’ve been known to keep calendars for years beyond their time, simply because of the images. Ansel Adams calendars, for example. I know that they’re mass produced copies of his photographs, but they’re so stunning!  So – what to do with this beautiful Lavinia calendar?

First – think of the inspiration in front of you! You can recreate these gorgeous images yourself! Whether you have the identical stamps used in the images, or just use the images as reference. You can even ‘cheat’ and use your Lavinia Dream-Scape Papers or cards for backgrounds.

Yes, this requires that you cut up your calendar – so either buy 2, or wait until each month has passed.  Create or purchase a base or frame. Attach the image from the calendar – and you have a spectacular piece of art. Joggles has a terrific, short video on how you can do this, using a cradled art panel. Watch it, below!

Here’s a photo of the 3 panels that were created in the video – I think they’re fabulous!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)
