GET READY FOR HALLOWE’EN
I’m starting to get ready for Hallowe’en. How about you? We don’t do much for Hallowe’en, since our boys are both grown now. They may go out with friends, but we don’t get a lot of kids doing trick-or-treat in our area any more. It seems that all the kids were growing up at the same time as mine were; we don’t usually get more than 10 kids now, where we used to get at least 3 dozen! Since my Paper Pumpkin kit for September is here, I decided that this year, each trick-or-treater will receive a special treat from our house!
PAPER PUMPKIN TREAT BAGS
These are not just any old treat bags! Of course, Stampin’ Up! is going to help you wow your little ghosts & goblins with the cutest treat bags ever.
How cute are these tags & bags?!
The part I love best about Paper Pumpkin kits is that absolutely EVERYTHING you need is included! All of the die cuts, stickers, stamp set, ink spot, and adhesives are included. Of course in this kit, the printed cello bags, complete with the cardstock to put in the bottom, are also included. And of course, you always have left over embellishments & adhesives, not to mention the stamp set and ink spot, for future projects!
I don’t know if you can tell, but behind the ghost eyes and pumpkin face is silver foil – so they reflect! The ‘Boo’ die cut sticker is also silver foil.
Once I stamped the die cut tags, attached the die cut sticker sayings and added the black & silver baker’s twine, I stuffed the bags with tissue paper. I don’t have any Hallowe’en candy yet, because – well, this:
Yeah – it happens every year, and it’s just too early to be buying it right now! Even though it’s been in the stores since before the end of September!
Since the stamp set that’s included is so cute, I decided to add some stamping to the back of the tags, too. After all – everyone sees the back, eventually.
Bats, spiders and pumpkins – oh my! And I love how the cello bags are printed with spider webs, spiders and orange & black stripes. Very festive!
WATCH THE VIDEO
For every new Paper Pumpkin kit, Stampin’ Up! creates a video to show you how to put it together. The video works well with the basic instructions that come with each kit. Sometimes things just make more ‘sense’ when you see it being done. Have a look!
Pretty cute, right? I know the little ghosts & goblins are going to love getting these, this Hallowe’en! And the Take Your Pick tool that was shown at the beginning of the video? You can order that right now, too!

So cute! And I love the meme. We bought tons of candy this year (mostly for the office). Someone said, “Oh, you’re ready for trick or treaters?” Sure…we’ll go with that. (We never get trick or treaters. Mostly because we turn the lights off because the candy has been gone for weeks.)
Oh, that’s too funny about the candy, Buffy! :O 🙂
Deb, this is so cute. I love that cat, out among the trees!
I’ve had this cat stamp for so long – I just can’t give it up! Glad you like this card, Jackie. Thanks for your comment 🙂
