HAND DELIVERED THANK YOU Z FOLD
What do I love more than a quick & easy card? A quick & easy card that looks like it took more time & effort than it actually did! This Hand Delivered thank Z Fold card fits the bill perfectly. The Z fold is easy to do, but always please the recipient.
LOVELY LIPSTICK
No lipstick, or even lips visible on this card,but there’s Lovely Lipstick no the less! It’s one of the gorgeous In Colours added this year by Stampin’ Up! I used it for the card base, as well as the cute shoes and belt on the lady (if she had a purse, I may have coloured it the same, too!)
To add some more fun, I stamped the skirt a second time, coloured it, and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
CARD DETAILS
First, create your Z fold card base. Cut a piece of Lovely Lipstick cardstock to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, and score at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″. Fold over (left to right) on the 4 1/4″ score line, then fold backwards (right to left) on the 2 1/8″ score line. Now you have the ‘Z’. I told you it was easy!
Now cut your panels of Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper for each section of the fold. The 2 smaller panels will be 2″ x 5 1/4″, and the large panel will be 4″ x 5 1/4″. Attach those to each corresponding panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Now create your panel for the front of the Z – your focal panel. I cut mine to the size I needed for the image – you can create yours to any size, and shape. It could be an oval, circle, square or diamond – whatever works for the stamp set you’ve chosen.
On the Whisper White panel, use the Stamparatus to first stamp the top half – sign with hands – of the Hand Delivered stamp set in Memento Black ink. Wipe it off with the Simply Shammy, and remove it from the platform. Place the bottom half of the lady onto your cardstock, then pick it up with the Stamparatus platform. Ink up with Memento ink, then press down onto your panel. Voila – perfectly lined up!
On a separate piece of Whisper White, stamp the flower patterned skirt. Use the Stampin’ Blends Markers in Old Olive, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral to colour the flowers, leaves and dots on the skirt. Next, hand cut the skirt with Paper Snips, and attach it over the stamped skirt, with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finish colouring the belt and shoes, using the Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Write Marker. Finally, stamp the ‘thank you’ sentiment, also from the Hand Delivered set, in Lovely Lipstick ink onto the sign.
Now you can attach the stamped image panel to the panel of Lovely Lipstick cardstock, and attach it to the card base. Make sure that you put your adhesive ONLY on the LEFT SIDE of the panel back – you’re only attaching the one side to the front panel.
Cut a 3 3/4″ x 5″ panel of Whisper White for the inside of the card. Stamp the sentiment from the Rooted in Nature stamp set in Lovely Lipstick ink. Next, attach it to the inside with the liquid glue. Finally, finish off your card front by attaching some of the pretty Glitter Enamel Dots on the front stamped panel. I chose the Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape and Melon Mambo as the closest to the colours in the DSP, and the flowers on the skirt.

The extra fold, and movement of the card when opening, gives it an extra special feel. Your recipient feels very special!
