Today I have a card to share with you that uses a multi layering stamp set. It’s called Color Layering Fuchsia, by Hero Arts. It also has a coordinating die set, so you can also die cut the beautiful images. I paired it with two other dies; a cover die from Altenew and the Hey There from Concord & 9th’s Fabulous Phrases set.
HEY THERE COLOR LAYERING FUCHSIA
I did a combination of stamping directly onto the front panel, as well as stamping & die cutting, to add additional images to the front.
By adding the Gradient Stripes Cover Die from Altenew over the front panel, I was able to then ‘weave in’ the die cut flowers & stem.
CARD DETAILS
To save time, stamp your front panel and the images to be die cut at the same time. Use the Hero Arts Fuchsia Layering ink cube set – the colours are already coordinated for you! The set includes Grape Juice, Passion Flowers, Ultra Pink and Moss. Follow the layering steps on the back of the stamp package to create your flowers and stem.
After stamping, use the coordinating Color Layering Fuchsia die set to die cut the 2nd set of images. At the same time, use the Gradient Stripes cover die to die cut it from a panel of Vellum paper. Use the sentiment from the Concord & 9th Fabulous Phrases die set and cut it twice from purple cardstock.
LAYER IT TOGETHER
Attach the vellum cover die over the stamped panel, with liquid glue that will dry clear. Weave the die cut stem and flowers between the strips, and attach them in place with foam tape for the flowers, and liquid glue for the stem. Now, layer the die cut sentiments on top of each other, and then attach them to the bottom right corner of the panel. Attach the front panel to a card base of purple cardstock. Finally, finish off the front by adding a few clear droplets.
I know – you can see where I made an alignment boo-boo with the vellum cover die onto my stamped panel – but once it was in place, I didn’t want to rip it up! If I did, then I’d have to start from scratch. So, it’s not perfect, but then neither am I. *shrug* I thought I’d still share with you – just so you know things aren’t always perfect & pretty in my world!
GIVE IT A TRY!
When I have more time, I’ll probably try this card again, and see if I can get the panels lined up correctly! In the meantime, if you’re interested in giving it a try yourself, I’ve included links below for online ordering. I do hope that you’ve enjoyed my card today, mistake and all! Thanks for spending some time with me.

Gorgeous. I love how you weaved the flowers underneath the die.
Maybe I should have said wove instead of weaved! I looked it up and it seems both are proper but wove is “liked” better. I love how you wove the flowers underneath the die! 🤪
You’re too funny! I’m glad that you like my card – whether the flowers are woven or weaved! 😉
