Hello, Stamping Friends!
Is it the first day back to school in your area? Well, it should be here, but a dispute between the teachers and the government (which has been going on since May!) has put the start of school on hold, indefinetely. Now, some kids might think that this is fan-tab-u-lous, but if your child is in high school, as my youngest is (going into grade 11), you know that this is not so much fun, as it is nerve-wracking and stressful, as every day that's missed puts them behind in work that is required for graduation.
*sigh* I could continue with my thoughts on this topic, but it would not solve any problems, and just raise my blood pressure! Besides, stamping is more pleasant to talk about, and I have some news to share with you!

I am so excited to see that our Simply Pressed Clay is on special this week – perfect timing for making your own Christmas ornaments!! Did you see the one on page 14 of the Holiday Catalogue? It's so cute!
Not only is this ornament adorable, but it's super-easy to make, too! Stampin' Up! has even created a video to show you how easy it is to make one exactly like this:
I'm planning on making lots of these, plus trying some of my own designs! I'm thinking of how easy it will be, if I pull out my Christmas cookie cutters! What do you think? Plus, if you want to have a coloured ornament, all you have to do is while you're softening up the Clay, add a few drops of Re-Inker in the colour you want, then squish it together to mix in the ink. Voila! Your own personal, one-of-a-kind colour and ornament!
