art cats

Hello there, friend! Well, the bad news is that my back strain is getting progressively worse, rather than better. And since there’s a special blog hop coming up this Friday, I’ve been spending my valuable ‘able to sit’ time getting ready for that. You’ll thank me – just wait! Anyway, this means that I don’t have a new project to share with you today. Instead, I thought I’d take this time for something different. I give you – humour and wisdom from the Internet!

Humour should always come first, right? Except for maybe empathy… depends on the situation. Okay, I think that this is more of a ‘snort’ funny – and I love dogs, so there’s that!

Humour and Wisdom from the Internet

I just love the expressions on the dogs’ faces! This next one is less of a ‘funny’ that an ‘oh my gosh – look at this!’

So many famous artists, turned into cats! Yes, I love cats too 🙂 I think my favourite is the ‘Krida’ cat. That, and ‘Soly’. Which is your favourite?

This last ‘funny’ is sort of appropriate, given that I have no idea how I hurt my back….just one of those things!

Humour and Wisdom from the Internet

Personally, I really need to work on #2.  #7 could be even more terrible if it said ‘chocolate’ along with ‘wine’!

Well, sometimes wisdom can seem like a tricky thing. Common sense – now that seems even trickier these days, especially for politicians, am I right? But, I won’t go down that dark & spooky road.  Here’s some wisdom for the artist within.

Humour and Wisdom from the Internet

Have you noticed that there’s much more humour on the internet, than wisdom? ‘Nuff said about that, too, I think. Anyway – I do hope that you’ll come back tomorrow for our Scrap ‘N Stamp special blog hop! The artist in you will like it, I’m sure. In the meantime, if you come across some special humour or wisdom from the internet, please feel free to share it!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

  1. I am so sorry to hear about your back. (I meant to write that on yesterday’s blog post too but your card blew me away so I forgot). You need to take care of yourself. No more housework for you!

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
