Hello, Stampin' Friends!

I hope  you've had a good day 🙂  I've been looking forward to sharing these cards with you – they are examples of the 2 new techniques we'll be doing in this weekend's class!

The 1st one is called 'Inky Bands' – you can create so many different effects, to give your card or scrapbook background a different 'feel'.  Colour evokes so many different emotions, and this technique is one way for you to convey an emotion, on your project.

I just love the 'sunny' feeling of the blues and yellows in the first card; it just says 'happy' to me!   I actually did this card as a 'get well' card for a fellow demonstrator!  I hope she likes it.

The second card, to me, conveys strength, warmth and a feeling of 'I'm with  you'.

What do they say to you?  What colours would you like to use in your projects?

The next technique I learned from another SU! demonstrator, and I call it 'Glitter Napkin', because I used a napkin in the sample – but you can get a similar effect using a stamped image.

What do you think?  Can you see all that glittery goodness?!  My gosh – it shines like diamonds!  You really have to see it in person to see just how much it glitters; it's gorgeous.

If  you'd like to learn how to do these techniques, join me this Saturday – there's still room!  Just send me an email or give me a call – 604.298.0472 or debsmart@shaw.ca to save your spot.

If you can't make it this weekend, have a look at my Class Schedule (the page tab at the top of this page) and sign up for a class that works for you.  Can't see a convenient time?  We can set up a private class for you & your friends – at your place or mine!

I hope to see you soon!  In the meantime – Happy Stamping!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)
