Ok, I was sure that today was Tuesday! Anyone else with me? I’m totally losing track of days of the week, at this time of year. It seems to be just go, go, go! But in a good way, because it means that I’ve been busy. I’m delighted that I’ve been busy posting off filled orders for clients, knowing that they’ll get there in plenty of time before Christmas. Have you got YOUR order in , yet? The sooner the better, my friend! *hint, hint* Anyway, I’ve also been busy creating as well.
NEW ORNAMENTS
Okay, I know I said a couple weeks ago that I was finished with ornaments. But ornaments obviously weren’t finished with me! So I’ve made a few more styles that I hope you’ll like. And no – it’s not too late to order! My favourite supplier of the 3D printed frames came up with some ornament sets, that of course I couldn’t resist. They are a round printed design, with an acrylic base. Each ornament has a beautiful stained glass look, as alcohol inks are used to tint the resin.
There are a total of 8; 2 each of 4 different designs. They’re listed in my Shop for purchase separately, so that you can mix & match as you like. (I’ve labeled them #1a, 1b, 2a, etc.)
SNOWFLAKE ORNAMENTS
I found these beautiful wooden snowflakes in my stash, and knew I wanted to add them into ornaments. First, I mixed a gorgeous gold colour shift glitter with a special adhesive, and brushed it onto each snowflake. While those were drying, I poured the base of the ornaments in this gorgeous deep red. Once the base was cured, the snowflakes were added, and a layer of clear resin poured, to secure them to the ornaments. The result is that the snowflakes are still ‘on top’ of the ornament base, for fabulous dimension & shine.
Here’s a close up, below, so you can see the sparkle on those snowflakes!
ORDER SOON!
I’ll have these new ornaments listed in my Shop ASAP. If you’re ordering from within Canada, the Canada Post site puts a deadline of Dec. 9-19 for across Canada; Dec. 16-20th within B.C., and Dec. 12th for U.S. If you’re ordering to the U.K. or E.U., the deadline is coming up quick – Dec. 5th – 9th.
Of course, those dates are for regular post. If you’re running late, and are willing to pay for expedited post, just send me a message with your order, and I’m happy to accommodate your needs!
