New March Releases

Happy Friday, my friend! It’s been a busy week, but I want to share with you more March new arrivals, from our favourite companies. So grab your favourite beverage, settle in, and prepare to browse!

CONCORD & 9TH

On the 9th of each month, Concord & 9th announces their new release! This month’s release is called Seasons of Love. I think you’ll see why!

March New Arrivals

Welcome a new baby, celebrate Spring, and of course Easter, Mother’s Day and wedding season is coming up!  A really pretty bundle that you can get is the Triple-step Blooming Hearts; the stamp set an coordinating die set.

Here’s a video from Concord & 9th, showing how to use these 2 sets together:

Isn’t that awesome? So many possibilities for using this, and occasions, too!

SCRAPBOOK.COM – MAGIC MAT

Have you hear about this? I’m just finding out about the new Magic Mat, an exclusive from Scrapbook.com.  It’s a new self-healing cutting mat, made to replace one of the cutting plates from your manual die cutting machine.

March New Arrivals

So, what’s so ‘magic’ about the Magic Mat? Good question – I wondered that, too! So here’s the answer, from Scrapbook.com:

What Is The Magic Mat?

  • The standard Magic Mat is the same size as the Sizzix Standard Cutting Pad.  If your machine can use this pad, it can use the Magic Mat
  • The Magic Mat replaces the cutting pad your metal dies cut into in your manual die cutting sandwich

Features:

  • Made of self-healing cutting material
  • Double sided
  • Durable & sturdy for extended wear
  • Great for use with intricate thin metal dies
  • Can be used as a work surface for cutting, slicing, and trimming
  • Handy 1cm square gridlines for precision alignment
  • Made from recycled materials

Say goodbye to the typical cracking and etching you’re used to in standard plastic cutting pads. With the Magic Mat, you won’t have to worry about deep plastic cutting pad impressions getting transferred to your new project. And these are just a few of the many fabulous tricks up the Magic Mat’s sleeves!

Wow! How cool is that? No more scarred cutting plate, and hopefully that will mean no more broken plate, either!  I don’t have one of these Magic Mat’s (yet), but I would think that since it’s made of self-healing cutting material, it’s not as brittle as a regular cutting plate.  And, you can use it away from your die cutting machine, as a work surface! It’s available in standard size, plus the extended size.  CLICK HERE to see the sizes available, and which machines it’s compatible with.

If you have, or get a Magic Mat, I would love to hear your review! Either leave a comment here, or drop me an email!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
