I’m back to share more Christmas cards with you! Yesterday in THIS POST I shared some cards that I made with the kit and some extras. Today I have the last few variations to show you.

PLAID VARIATIONS

The green plaid panel is included in the Paper Pumpkin kit. This time, I stamped the trees all the way across the middle of the panel, before adding the Tim Holtz Darling Deer, and the rest.

More Christmas Cards

I found some red plaid from a paper pack in my stash, so I used that with a red card base for the 2nd version.

SPARKLING TREES

The second card base in this kit is so pretty, with the snowy sparkling trees and snow.

For these cards, I cut up one of the card bases to create 2 cards. On the left, you can see that I cut the one into 3 strips, and attached them to a black panel.  Then I added the sentiment and red banner, with the embellishments.

The card on the right uses a green card base, with a trimmed down green plaid panel. On top of that, I added the vellum trees, a sentiment and embellishments.

In the photo above I tried to capture the subtle sparkle of the snowflakes on the paper.

I hope that you enjoyed seeing my variations on cards created by starting with a kit, and then using your own designs. Kits can be a great time saver, and give you the supplies you need to put together some great cards!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
