Most Busy Time of the Year

I know that the song lyrics say “most wonderful time of the year”, but for me, it’s the “most *busy* time of the year”! On top of customer orders, ongoing projects, holiday card making and Christmas shopping, I have to clear out my craft room – a.k.a. the dining room!

Most Busy Time of the Year

The struggle is real, my friend! Plus, I’ve got 2 Christmas dinners to plan (early one at my parents, and day of at my home), and my Dad’s 90th birthday in early January! So, please forgive me if you don’t see daily posts over the next few weeks.

PRETTY THINGS

I just want to share with you some gorgeous glitter that just arrived for me! If you ever need fabulous glitter at great prices, Em & Kat Glittery Factory is *the* place to shop!

Aren’t they gorgeous?! I bought them specifically for a project I’m making for myself – hopefully I’ll have time to do it before the end of the month! It’s this gorgeous Cardinal Barn Quilt style wood frame.

It’s a laser scored wood piece, and over the top is laid with 3M adhesive, scored in the exact places as the image above. What you do is remove one piece of the adhesive at a time, cover the area with glitter, and then move on to the next area. It’s going to be time consuming, but so beautiful! I can’t wait to get it done.

DAILY SALES AT SCRAP ‘N STAMP

Don’t forget that Scrap ‘N Stamp is celebrating the 12 Deals of Christmas!

Each day is a new Deal, featuring a new Brand. So far there’s been discounts on Doodle Bug Designs, Hero Arts and Concord & 9TH.  Today’s deal is Hero Arts!

Get 30% OFF on Hero Arts products all day today! Remember – each deal is only 1 day long, so you only  have until Midnight tonight to grab the Hero Arts deals! CLICK HERE to shop with me, now! (tomorrow’s deal is on My Favorite Things – in case you were wondering!)

BACK TO WORK!

Okay – I’m back to work (of course, writing this post is part of my work, too). What’s your most busy time of the year? I hope your plans are going smoothly! Thanks for spending some time with me today.

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
