Happy, sunshiny day, Stampin' Friends!
Wow – I hope your weather is as beautiful as our is here, in Vancouver, B.C.!
Mother Nature has been setting all sorts of new high temperature records for the last few days, and we've got more of the same for the whole week, it seems. I mean, I know that the amount of rain we get is important for our water levels, and keeps our Province keeping lush & green, for which it's famous – but it sure is nice to get out & enjoy it, without getting soaked!
So I'm taking a moment out of the mid-day sun, to share some more Mother's Day cards with you, and a look at what April's Paper Pumpkin held!
I've been so busy, I haven't even created with my new Paper Pumpkin yet – but here's what I get to play with:
And these are all the pieces that you get to create with – I just love those silver buttons, and the designer paper – is gorgeous!! How about those stamps? I think they're hilarious – though I'll probably get more use out of just the 'Seriously' one – the feedback on our SU! demo's only site is that they're either 'love' or 'hate' – not much in between! I think as long as you know your recipient, and/or the occasion, you'll know when it's appropriate to use these kinds of stamps.
If you've already signed up, and received this (April) kit, I'd love it if you shared with me how you put together your creations! Do you follow directions, or or add your own 'spin'? Do you stick with the supplies in the kit, or add your own?
Send me an email with picture(s) of your creations, and I'll share them here on my blog! firstname.lastname@example.org I'll look forward to hearing from you!
If you'd like to recieve your own monthly 'creative kit' delivered directly to your own door, just go to www.paperpumpkin.com to sign up – and please remember to put me down as your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! If you'd like to receive May's Paper Pumpkin, you must sign up before May 10th, as they ship on/about the 15th of the month.
Okay – this coming Sunday is Mother's Day, so this week I'll be sharing the rest of the Mother's Day cards that I've made.
These next ones are so cute, especially if your Mom loves flowers, or spending time in the garden. It's a 'flower pot' card – and you can see that you can pull out the flowers from the middle, and that's where your sentiment is stamped!
What do you think? Cute enough for the flower lover in your life? I just love the bright colours – they say 'Spring has arrived!' (finally! lol)
One more reminder – there's ONLY 6 DAYS LEFT TO PLAY THE LATE NIGHT STAMPERS TREASURE HUNT!!
