Wow, is it mid week already? I hope that you’re doing well, my friend, and staying safe & healthy. Today I thought I’d catch up with the new Altenew release and more updates for keeping busy. Personally, I’m not familiar with the need to ‘keep busy’ – there’s always something to do! The biggest decision first is to chose to do something; the second is to choose what to do!

NEW FREE COLOURING PAGE
Last week, I shared some free colouring pages from artist Sandy Sandy – you can read that post HERE. Well, Sandy has just added another new page – and my heart about exploded! It’s a gorgeous Kermode Bear – also known as the Spirit Bear. These bears are found exclusively in our northern west coast here in British Columbia. Their white colouring is a genetic abnormality – I prefer to think of it as a specialty – in the black bear. Only about 1 in 10 is born with white or cream coloured fur. You can download the free colouring page from Sandy Sandy HERE on her Learn Love Create website. Below is her completed version – I can’t wait to get started on my own!
RANDOM ACTS OF CARDNESS
You still have time to join the fun! Scrap ‘N Stamp Canada has a month long challenge going on, called Random Acts of Cardness. There is a new prompt/theme for every day of the month. You can join as few or as many days as you like. Just create your project for any given prompt, and then add it to the Scrap ‘N Stamp Facebook Challenge page. Be sure to use the hashtag #SNSchallenge – you can share on other social media, as well. Every time you share a new project, you’re entered to win one grand prize of a $50 Gift Card from Scrap ‘N Stamp! One winner will be randomly drawn on May 1st. You’ll love shopping the Scrap ‘N Stamp store for everything from Ranger, MFT, Lawn Fawn, Picket Fence Studios & more stamps, inks, glazes, stencils – you can check it out HERE! Below, you’ll find the list of daily prompts for the challenge.
Remember to send out those cards! Everyone loves to receive happy mail 🙂 Well, now that I’ve caught you up with the new Altenew release and more, I hope that you’re inspired to create. Have fun, & I’ll see you again tomorrow!
Wow! That bear is amazing! I can’t wait to see your version!
You should pull out your watercolour paints & do this bear with me, Susan! (if you can find them in your packed boxes…)
