While I’m still waiting for the sunflower keychain molds to arrive, I’ve been working on creating other keychains! I had ordered some other molds from a great new supplier in Washington State, so I used those, plus some wood heart shapes.
WOOD BASED HEARTS
The heart shape is laser cut from 1/8″ thick birch wood, and comes with the hole already drilled. I got these from the same supplier that I purchased the Seahorse and Turtle, that you can find in my online Shop HERE and HERE. Each heart measures 3″, and is coated with resin on the front and back.
Each heart is a complete little beach scene, including waves and tiny shells! 20mm (.787 inch) beads are added for decoration to the lobster clasp. As you can see in the photo below, the back of each heart is also coated in blue tinted resin.

RESIN KEYCHAINS
These next keychains are created from resin in silicone molds. I’m working on several different kinds, but here’s a few that are now complete. Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day, but you don’t have to be Irish to appreciate the meaning of the Claddagh, as depicted on these 2 keychains.
Made in Claddagh, County Galway, Ireland since the 1700’s, the Claddagh is an iconic Irish symbol. The heart represents love, the hands stand for friendship, and the crown for loyalty. These 3 words can be seen underneath the symbol, on the keychain. Since it’s an Irish symbol, I created these 2 in green and gold!

I think this is lots of fun, with a bit of sass (kinda like me!).
