November Paper Pumpkin

It’s here! The November Paper Pumpkin Kit was just delivered by FedEx to my door this morning – and I couldn’t wait to start creating! I have a really large class happening tomorrow, so a lot of my tools are already packed away for that. (Heaven forbid I forget something – I’ll be checking it all at least 3 times before then). Anyway – that wasn’t a problem, because Paper Pumpkin comes with everything you need! Well, except scissors – I used my scissors to cut the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler ribbon.

The November Paper Pumpkin is called ‘To You And Yours’, and contains everything to make 10 complete cards – 5 each of 2 designs. You’ll love the plaid panels – it’s so on trend this year! Here’s a picture of the stamp set and Cherry Cobbler ink spot that are part of the kit.

I can definitely see this stamp set getting lots of use!  Also in the kit are 10 card bases, 10 printed envelopes, 10 card front panels, 5 sheets of laser-cut leaves, 5  pieces of die-cut vellum circles, 1 sheet vellum die cuts, 6 sheets die-cut stickers, 2 sheets gold foil labels, 5 1/2 yds. braided linen ribbon, 40 adhesive-backed sequins (2 sizes), 200 adhesive dots and 50 dimensionals.  I think that’s a fabulous amount of product!! No skimping on making terrific cards.

I only made 2 cards to start with, as I wanted to share them right away. So, I followed the instructions to create these cards.

Don’t you just love the plaid?! And even the envelopes are lined with the plaid paper as well. The coordinating colours for this kit are Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Soft Suede, ery Vanilla and Whisper White. And of course, gold!

It’s difficult to see in the above photo, but there is a wood grain to the background pieces behind the sentiments, as well as Vellum accents.  You can see the details in these pictures, below.

This card, above, has the die-cut Vellum circle, as well as the wood grain rectangle sticker in the background. Can you see how the Cherry Cobbler Linen Ribbon is braided? And it’s so soft & smooth to the touch!

For this card, above, you can see the die-cut sticker background also has the wood grain. There’s a die-cut Vellum label behind the stamped cardstock label, which you notice has the detail of gold foil edging. I used the sequins to highlight the die-cut pine bough wreath.

Being a Paper Pumpkin subscriber comes with some perks, too! You can order available past kits, and or kit refills. You can also order as many current kits as you need – you’re not limited to only 1 kit. You can also order them as gifts, for your creative friends and family members!

If you like the idea of a monthly kit delivered to your door, but you like doing your own creative thing – no problem! The instructions are there for new crafters, or people who want to replicate the look of the sample shown. Feel free to put together the kits your own way, or use the pieces in other projects. There’s always plenty of left over embellishments and adhesives, plus of course the ink spot and stamp set that can be used and added to your stash.

To become a subscriber to Paper Pumpkin, just click on the button below! It only takes a minute, and your kit will arrive approximately mid-December.

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

    1. You’re welcome for the peek, Susan 🙂 I love the plaids – they speak to my Scottish side (plaid is almost a tartan!)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
