Hello there, my Stamping Friends!

Have you ever been going about your daily routine, just minding your own business; then you bend down to pick up something – and as you do, you have that sudden, stabbing pain in your lower back and you know – you just know – that all is NOT right in your world as of that moment?!

Well, that's what happened to me 🙁  Let me tell you, it's not nice, and it NEVER happens at a "good" time!!  Of course, there's never a 'good' time for  your back to go out, but hey – there are 'better' times than others!  Like how about NOT the day before you receive your order of Holdiay catalogue pre-order goodies?!  How about NOT 3 days before you have family coming to stay with you for a week?!  *sheesh!*

As the saying goes, 'the show must go on', and so must the woman of the house! LOL!  Thank goodness for understanding family and friends, for crock-pots for easy meals, and forgiving Design Team members who know that somtimes your body just won't allow you to sit and create, so you have to miss a blog tour 🙁   In fact, this is my first day sitting at the computer for any length of time, and I have yet to see what the other Creation Station Design Team created focusing on the fabulous Kinda Eclectic stamp set.  I hope you'll join me in taking the blog tour, if you haven't already – you know you're gonna love what the team came up with!  You can start at Justin Krieger's blog just by clicking HERE.

I also received my wonderful August Paper Pumpkin kit, but haven't had a chance to play with it, either!  I can't wait – this kit certainly lives up to it's name – 'Seriously Amazing'!!  Take a look at what's in the kit:

Look at all these goodies!!

With this month's kit, you get to make 4 large cards, 4 small cards, 4 large envelopes and 4 small envelopes!  Of course, you also get all the embellishments, Ink Spot and Stamp set to go with it.  Not only that, but in this kit you also get a sheet of Stampin' Dimensionals plus a sheet of Glue Dots!!  Serioulsy!  Amazing!! 🙂

Of course, if your the adventurous type, you can always make different projects that those shown in the instructions; or you can just take it easy, follow the 'rules', and still have 8 fabulous projects to WOW your friends with!   When I get a chance to play with my set, I'll share with you what I come up with.  Will you share with me?  Share your pictures with me – email them to me at debsmart@shaw.ca, and I'll do a Paper Pumpkin sharing page, here on my blog!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
