Hello Stamping Friends!

A huge 'thank you' to those stamping friends who were able to make it to my Open House last night – it was a huge success!  I hope everyone  had as much fun as I did.

There were lots of samples on display, along with new stamp sets, embellishments, kits and designer series papers.  Here's a couple of pictures of the display –

And of course everyone received a copy of the New Occasions Catalogue, along with a Sale-a-bration brochure.  Everyone had fun trying out a couple of the newest tools – the Fringe Scissors (item #133325 $13.50) and the new Spiral Flower Originals Die (item #129379 $21.95)

Here's some pictures of the ladies enjoying the Make & Take

These are Domani's two wonderful daughters, Deirdre and Druscilla – they are super paper crafters!  (Domani was busy using the Big Shot, to make some of the Sprial Flowers – and her picture turned out blurry 🙁  I'll have to take another one of her at the next class!)

Here you can see Grace and Shannon, concentrating on putting together their card 🙂

And here's the rest of the group – Christine, Susan, Amanda, Debbie, and Rachel, having a break and enjoying some of the delicious goodies – because every good party has delicious goodies! 🙂

Last year, I participated in a Stampin' Up! event for demonstrators, and received a large box of goodies (along with hundreds of other demonstrators who also participated).  Well, it was such a big box, that I just had to share it with my Stamping Friends!

I prepared a goodie bag for everyone who attended last night – of course I had to make special tags – and I used the Spiral Flower Die!

I used Real Red and Primrose Petals Core'dinations cardstock to get this lovely two-tone rose.  I also sanded the cardstock, to give a bit of texture to the edges of the petals.  The tag I cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelits, and stamped & cut the inner label with the Chalk Talk stamp set and matching Framelits.

Here's a picture of the bag – I stamped a plain white bag with a stamp set from Sale-a-bration called Petal Parade – isn't it cute?!

Everything in front of the bags is what went into each bag; there is a sampling of different colours of Core'dinations Cardstock; a sampling of Candlelight Christmas DSP; ribbon samples and samples of the retired 'Sweater Trim'.  Also included was my new 'Frequent Stamper Card', and as a bonus for attending last night, everyone received their first punch for FREE!

It really was a wonderful evening, and I truly appreciate the ladies for coming out and supporting me.  I will be sharing pictures of the samples from last night – some of them during the Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop that starts tomorrow evening!

Make sure you come back tomorrow evening to Hop along with the gals from the Watercooler; they're be lots of fabulous projects shared, highlighting the new products from the new Occasions Catalogue, and the Sale-a-bration brochure.

See you tomorrow!  Until then – Happy Stamping!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)
