I’ve recently received my order with the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set, and I thought this sketch for the Paper Craft Crew challenge was the perfect time to use it!
This week is a fun sketch challenge for you to get creative with.

I think that this sketch gives lots of opportunity for interpretation. Remember, you can change the focal shape, flip the orientation, and of course choose your own colours. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
PICTURE PERFECT BIRTHDAY
The whole Picture Perfect Party suite of products is such fun! From the bright colours to the photographic imagery in the Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper, it couldn’t be more festive.
DETAILS
As you can see, I pulled the colours I used from the fun DSP. First, use the Layering Circles Framelits and Big Shot to die cut a circle from the confetti pattern. Attach it to the back of a 2″ x 4″ strip of Berry Burst cardstock, and use the Paper Snips to remove the excess.
On the Whisper White cardstock panel, use the 2 confetti images in the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set, and stamp in Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst ink. Stamp the sentiment in Lemon Lime Twist ink in the bottom right hand corner.
Use Paper Snips to hand cut the noise maker image from the Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper, and attach it to the strip of cardstock, just above the confetti circle. Now attach the strip to the Whisper White panel on the left hand side, with Dimensionals. Finally, stamp the 2 step bow image from the stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide ink. Hand cut it, and attach it at the top with Dimensionals. Attach the whole panel to a card base of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. Doesn’t that noise maker look real?! It totally looks 3D, although it’s completely flat! Have a look at this side view.
INSIDE STAMPING
I wasn’t going to show the inside, as just as I was gluing it to the inside of the card, I got a smudge of Berry Burst ink on it! *UGH!* Has this ever happened to you? Well, I had to deal with it, so I thought I’d share what I did.
I had stamped the sentiment and one of the confetti in Lemon Lime Twist ink, and the 2nd confetti in Berry Burst ink. See the middle of the bow? Well, that’s where the smudge landed! I hadn’t planned on stamping a bow there, but I had to cover up the smudge somehow… so there you go! There are no mistakes, just opportunities for more stamping or embellishments! 😉

Wow! I was trying to figure out how you did the ruffle on the noise maker until I read that it was flat. It does look 3D! Very nice card (and for some reason I can comment today. Yay!)
