retiring products I will miss

Wow – did you take a look at the retiring products list?!  There sure are a lot of items retiring; of course that means we’ll have lots of new items to replace them 🙂  I have to admit though, there are a few retiring products that I will miss.

I think I’ve had the Papillion Potpourri stamp set since I first joined Stampin’ Up!, 5 1/2 years ago!  Of course then I bought the Elegant Butterfly Punch, then a couple years later, the Bitty Butterfly Punch when it arrived.

It was great at Hallowe’en time to use these punches.  What – butterflies at Hallowe’en?  Of course – they transform into bats! 🙂  Here’s how.

It’s true that we will still have the Bold Butterfly Framelits, and the Butterflies Thinlits Dies.  But it’s always nice and a little quicker to have the punches handy.  I don’t know about you, but I think I’ll be hanging onto mine for a while longer 🙂

One item that I  was shocked to see on the Retiring List is the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits.  That is another of the retiring products I will miss – and I’ll be keeping, as well!

I’ve made so many different kinds of projects with these thinlits, for all different occasions.  Check out just a few here in pictures.

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
