It’s official!! SAVE THE DATE – MAY 5th, 2018 for CROP and CREATE!
We’re so excited for this event! My team member Lynn and I are hosting our first Crop and Create, here in Burnaby, BC. We’ve booked our venue, which is the Willingdon Heights Community Centre, so we have LOTS of room for everyone to attend.
This fun event will run from 1:00 – 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 5th. There will be a door prize, snacks & beverages throughout the length of the event (stampers can’t run on ink alone!) and some fun prize draws during the event, as well!
There will be 2 parts to this event, and everyone is welcome to sign up for both, or just one part.
THE CROP
The Crop portion is perfect for the paper crafter who has unfinished projects, or projects not yet started, because you just don’t have the space at home. Or maybe you have the space, but not the uninterrupted time? Bring your own projects, materials and consumable supplies, and get ready to be productive!
At the Crop, you’ll have:
- a table all to yourself – lots of room for your supplies!
- access to and use of our tools, including Big Shot die cutting/embossing machines
- access to and use of our dies, framelits, thinlits and embossing folders
- access and use of our masks/stencils
THE CREATE
Looking for some new projects to work on? This is for you!
At each Create class, you’ll have:
- all supplies to create the project for that class
- written instructions for that project
- an instructor there to guide you through the steps for successful completion
THE DETAILS
We’re still working on the ‘fine print’, such as the costs for the Crop and each Create class. We’re also determining what types of Create classes we’ll have, so if you have any suggestions you’d like to see, such as fancy/fun fold cards, framed samplers, 3D items, or regular cards, please leave a comment on this post!
You’re more than welcome to join both the Crop portion and the Create portion; we’ll just have separate tables for each event. If you’re already set up at a Crop table, just leave your own projects there, and join us at a Create class. Then when you’re done, you can go back and finish up at your Crop table!
Fees will be set for the Crop, and each Create class – they’re still being determined.
