Save Your Fall Memories

SAVE YOUR FALL MEMORIES

I love fall – it’s one of the most beautiful times of the year! The colours are deep, vibrant and abundant; a photographers dream! Be sure to save your fall memories with a special scrapbook page. I created this one using our regular Stampin’ Up! cardstock, stamp sets and dies.

NATURE SCRAPBOOK PAGE

Though I titled the page ‘Nature’, you can change it up to whatever you want.

I used a neutral palette for my backgrounds, including the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper for the photo backgrounds, and the die cut letters.

ADD DEPTH TO YOUR TITLE

To create a bit more ‘oomph’ to your title, add a drop shadow. This means die cutting the letters in a solid colour cardstock, and offsetting them slightly behind and to one side of the letter in front. Here’s a close up of what I did with the Nature title.

Save Your Fall Memories

Use the Big Shot with the Large Letters Framelits to die cut the front letters in the Wood Textures DSP. Next die cut another set from Soft Suede cardstock. As this page will be going into a protective cover, I just used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue rather than dimensionals to attach the letters.

ADD SOME EMBELLISHMENTS & DIE CUTS

The Nature’s Poem Suite in the Annual catalogue is a terrific resource for embellishments and twine. You can also use the Nature’s Poem DSP in place of the Wood Textures DSP, if you prefer.

Save Your Fall Memories

Use the Big Shot Embossing Pads with the Nature’s Roots Framelits, to add embossing to your die cut leaves.

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
