Say Hello To Prize Ribbon

Tim Holtz has done it again! Please say hello to Prize Ribbon, the latest Distress colour from Tim Holtz and Ranger inks. This gorgeous blue celebrates the nostalgia of the county fair, and all of the amazing handmade goodness that win the blue ribbon.

Say Hello To Prize Ribbon

In fact, I automatically think of blue ribbon when see this colour, so I hope you’ll forgive me if I mix up the name! I just love this deep, rich colour; I’m a big fan of blues.

Luckily for us, Prize Ribbon is available in all of our favourite mediums. Ink Pad, Ink Re-inker, Oxide Pad, Oxide Re-inker, Embossing Glaze, Spray Stain, Oxide spray, Paint, and Enamel Pin, if you’re a collector. In case you  missed Tim’s big reveal over the weekend, you can watch his video below.

This video is just over an hour long, so grab your favourite beverage & snack, then settle in for some awesome creativeness!

Here’s a snip from the above video, where Tim shows us where Blue Ribbon ‘fits in’, in the current colour palette of blues.

This first sample strip shows the Distress Ink.  The photo below shows the Distress ink at the top and the Distress Oxide at the bottom.

Have fun watching the full video, and get inspired! Then, you’ll want to order yourself the new Prize Ribbon distress ink. I’ve included links below for you to start shopping. Don’t forget – if you order from Scrap ‘N Stamp Canada, use my Designer Discount Code 10DEB for 10% OFF your total order! (regular priced items only).

Because this new colour was revealed on the weekend, many stores haven’t updated their links with the graphic of the colour. So, I’m just going to list the store names, and when you click on the name, it will take you to the page with the new Prize Ribbon colour bundle. You can purchase either the bundle, or each item individually.

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
