PUPPY LOVE
I took the ‘puppy’ part of puppy love literally, and included 2 cute pooches in my card! It’s a very simple to make, yet cute card. Perfect for bringing your kids to the craft table with you.
This is one of the latest stamps from Colorado Craft Company (3C), called Wishing Happiness. It has some adorable images and cute sayings, great for any gender, and any age.
CARD DETAILS
I wanted a heart background, but don’t have an appropriate stencil. I remedied that by die cutting a large heart from an acetate sheet, and creating my own stencil/mask! To create the heart, lay the die cut heart shape on the piece of white cardstock. Next, use a blending brush and apply Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink around the edges of the heart. I’m really happy with how it looks! Next, set up the cardstock in a stamp platform, and stamp the 2 dogs in Nocturne ink. Cover the stamping with clear embossing powder, and set with a heat tool. Now you can colour with your alcohol markers. I had fun adding a couple of patches to the little dog! Finally, add some shadows under the dogs, to ‘ground’ them.
After colouring, set the panel back into the platform, and stamp the sentiment, also from the Wishing Happiness set, in Versamark ink. Cover with pink embossing powder, and heat set. For layering, add a piece of foil paper on top of a dark pink card base, and then your card front on top, with foam tape. The final touch is to add a few Nuvo Cherry Heart embellishments!

Simply precious!! I’ve always giggled at that sentiment, my aunt always told me that! This card is so so precious from the CCC stamp, but I never saw this stamp, which you designed so so pretty.
