FISH YOU WERE HERE
I love a good pun, so getting the Whittle Sealife Sentiments stamp set was a no-brainer! I used this set, plus the Whittle Fish Trio & Whittle Seahorse dies, plus the Memory Box Underwater 3D embossing folder.
CARD DETAILS
Wondering how I got the glossy look over the whole card front? It was easy! First, cut a piece of blue cardstock. Next, on the de-bossed side of the Underwater 3D embossing folder, cover it with Versamark ink. Now, put the cardstock inside the embossing folder, and run it through your Big Shot. This transfers the Versamark to the entire embossed card front. Next, cover the card front with WOW clear embossing powder, and heat set. Voila! A super shiny card front! For the seahorse and fish, die cut them from watercolour paper, and colour using your Zig markers, and a water brush or small paint brush. Stamp the sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock. Then attach it and the die cuts to the card front with foam tape or squares. Layer your card front, add a few Spiked Ocean Water sequins from Picket Fence Studios, and you’re done!
GIFT TAGS
I was having such fun, I decided to make a couple of tags. You can use them tied to a gift bag or taped onto a gift. These are really quick & easy to do.
TAG DETAILS
First, cut 2 pieces of white cardstock to measure 2″ x 5″ each. Place them in the Underwater embossing folder, and run it through the Big Shot. Add colour to the raised images by applying distress oxide inks with the small Life Changing Blender Brushes from PFS. The colours I chose are Spun Sugar, Broken China, Fossilized Amber, Vintage Photo, Dusty Concord, Wilted Violet, Cracked Pistachio and Pine Needles. Next, layer the tag fronts onto 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ pieces of blue cardstock. Stamp the sentiments from the Whittle Sealife Sentiments set in Nocturne ink, and add them onto the tags with foam tape. For embellishments, add some of the same PFS sequins, and some Acrylic Bubbles from Brutus Monroe.
