Share the Beauty

Life has been crazy around the world this year, which can make it easy to lose sight of the good things. Why not share the beauty around us, with our art? The November Doodlewash Art Challenge is coming up quickly, and the theme for November is “Beautiful Things“.

SHARE THE BEAUTY

Beautiful Things is a great topic, right? Everyone has their own special ‘things’ that are beautiful to them. Or if you’re feeling in a bit of a slump, Doodlewash has of course got daily prompts to help us out!

Share the Beauty

You can use these prompts if you like, none at all, or combine them with other prompts for even more inspiration! (no matter what you create, make sure it’s whatever inspires you most in the moment, and remember to simply add the tag #doodlewashNovember2020 when you post on social media so we can all see your lovely art!)

INSPIRATION, TUTORIALS & MORE

Be sure to check out the Doodlewash site HERE, any help you may need. Click on the ‘Resources’ tab for free tutorials, reference photos, and even art product reviews! These are a great help whether you’re just starting out & wondering about supplies you need, or you want to learn about that new product on the market. I also have free tutorials here on my blog – just click HERE, or on the ‘Tutorials’ tab in the top menu bar.

DAILY CHALLENGE AT SCRAP ‘N STAMP

If you like to create cards and other paper crafts, be sure to join the daily challenge on the Scrap ‘N Stamp Facebook page HERE. (yes, you do need a Facebook account). At the start of each month, a new list of daily prompts is posted. You can join as many days as you like, creating your card & sharing it on the page. Just be sure to use the hashtag #SNSCHALLENGE when posting! Then, one lucky winner is randomly chosen at the end of the month to receive a $50 Gift Card to spend at Scrap ‘N Stamp!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
