Hello friend! Sorry I missed posting yesterday (Monday). I was very busy, getting more new items finished and ready to post in my shop. You may remember that last week, I gave you a ‘sneak peek’ at a couple of items, in THIS POST. Well, it’s time for the sneak peek reveal! I’m going to share all 3 sneak peeks items.
SNEAK PEEK REVEAL #1
Here’s item number 1 from the sneak peek – it’s actually 2 items that are for purchase separately. First up, I’ll show you them all together. It’s a beautiful large bowl, with 4 coordinating small bowls!
These beautiful bowls are done in a ‘rose quartz’ colour style, with gold mica on the edges and the flower centers. This is accomplished by painting the mica directly onto the mold, before adding the resin. Next, after the resin has set but is still flexible, I hand shape them into bowls, rather than flat plates/coasters. The large bowl will be sold as 1 item, and the set of 4 bowls as a separate item.
SNEAK PEEK REVEAL #2
The second item I gave you a peek of last week is a jumping Dolphin!
The dolphin base is an acrylic shape. It measures 13″ x 9″ and would make the perfect gift for any dolphin or sea lover! I’ve displayed it on this small stand, but it can be easily hung on a wall – just add a small hook to the back. The acrylic base and resin decorating make it very lightweight. Pigment powders are used to colour the resin, and then a special pigment paste is used to achieve the waves.
SNEAK PEEK REVEAL # 3
Last but not least is a wonderful sea turtle! I’ve been on a ‘sea theme’ kick – you’ll see that in more items I’ll share with you tomorrow.
This cute turtle measures 7″ x 10″, and is decorated with small seashells and starfish, along with gold glitter for the ‘sand’. The same pigment colours are used as with the dolphin, above. I just love all of the texture on this turtle! Again, it would be easy to add a hook on the back, to display him on your wall. Personally, I’d recommend ‘Command’ brand hooks, because they’re not bulky, and can be repositioned without damaging your piece, or your wall.
