Sneak Peeks!

It’s almost Friday! I’ve had a very busy week, working on projects. There’s a really fun one coming up tomorrow for our Scrap ‘N Stamp Blog Hop. I’ve also been working on a large alcohol ink art project. So today, I thought I’d share some sneak peeks with you!

SNEAK PEEKS – Blog Hop Project

You’re going to LOVE our Blog Hop, tomorrow! We’re featuring new products from Tonic Studios. Let’s just say we’ll be ‘shaking things up’ a bit! Here’s sneak peek at my project.

Doesn’t that look interesting?! Shiny, embossing, and what else can you spot?  You’ll definitely want to come back tomorrow afternoon – the Hop starts at 3 pm PST.  Along with fabulous fun projects, there are prizes to won!

SNEAK PEEKS – Alcohol Ink Project

When you look at the photo below, I’m sure you’re going to question my sanity! And wonder “why does she bother continuing”?  Trust me – I’ve always said that you have to keep on with your project until the end. The whole process is a metamorphosis, and you can’t skip the rough patches.

It looks like a hot mess right now, doesn’t it? Trust me – my workspace is a lot messier than the project – and I cropped the photo for you! This is a large piece – 8 1/2″ x 11″, so it’s taking a while to finish. I’ve actually moved past the stage you see above. But, you’ll have to wait until at least Monday, for the completed project!

With any project, you have to have a starting point. First, of course is the sketch outline. Next, on this piece, it’s the background. After that comes the leaves and stems. Then a bit of detail in the flower centers.  Can you tell what type of flowers they are? I gave you a hint, when I posted THIS PIECE a few days ago.
