SNOWFLAKE WISHES

We card makers tend to make a LOT of cards, so we can’t always spend tons of time on each card. This card, which uses some new products from Stampendous and Picket Fence Studios looks like you took a lot of time – but it comes together quite quickly.

CARD DETAILS

First, cut your card base for a slimline card – I use the dimensions of 7″ x 8.5″, scored and folded in half at 3.5″. Next, cut your front panel to 3.5″ x 8.25″, and set it and the Stampendous Slim Snowflake Wishes stamp in your stamp platform. Cover the stamp with Versamark ink, and then cover it with silver embossing powder. Remove any excess, and then set with a heat tool.

Next, Use your Big Shot with the Picket Fence Studios Slimline Merry Christmas Die and a piece of Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Sparkle paper. Die cut the words once with the Sparkle paper, and then twice more from regular white cardstock. Now, glue each layer together, so that each word is 3 layers thick. Attach the letters to the embossed front panel. Now, use the Hero Arts Snowflake Cluster Die with the same Sparkle paper, and die cut it once. Snip the Cluster apart, and attach them in the alternate corners, on the front panel. Now, finish off the card front with some pretty Winter Fantasy Fairy Gemstones from Memory Box.  Finally, attach your gorgeous card front to your slimline card base.

This beautiful card will have your friends & family showing it off to their holiday guests!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

  1. That really is a gorgeous card. The font is beautiful, especially the way you placed them on the front. That certainly will be decorating a mantle for years. Soft beautiful colors (we decorate in blue so this is exceptional for me)

  2. Deb, your card is beautiful! I bet the silver embossing is stunning IRL. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
