Wow, we’re almost half way through this year already! If you haven’t started already, now is a good time to stock up on Birthday cards – the hand made kind, of course! The adorable images from Anita Jeram make it easy to create adorable cards for all ages.
BIRTHDAY WISHING
Using just this one stamp set, you could create & stock up on lots of birthday cards! A while ago I created THIS card, using different images from this same set. This time, I used the cute bunny with the balloon.
I had fun creating a pattern in his fur, instead of one solid colour.
CARD DETAILS
Start by blending Broken China Distress Oxide around the edges of the white cardstock. Next, set up the piece in your MISTI, or other stamp platform. Place your image and sentiment stamps where you want them, and then cover with Nocturne ink. After stamping, cover with clear embossing powder, and heat set. Choose your alcohol ink markers, and colour in the images. Add some highlights, with a white gel pen. To finish off the card front, add some embellishments. I chose a few sequins from my stash, and some of the Acrylic Bubbles, by Brutus Monroe. Finish off your card by layering on a blue card base, with a red panel.
SUPPLIES
This card comes together quickly, so you can make several at a time! And I still haven’t used all of the images & sentiments from this set, yet. Using portions of one stamp set to create multiple cards is a great, and economical, way to stock up on birthday cards, or any other type.

This is so cute, Deborah! And I love stamp sets that will work for any gender/any age.
I’m glad that you like this card Buffy! I agree – when a card can be used for different ages/genders, it’s a real winner! 🙂
