Hello my Stamping Friends, and Thank You! for making yesterday's Creation Station Blog Tour such a success! I'm always thrilled to see so many visitors to my blog, and when you leave a comment – well, that's just golden for me!! I love to read comments left by you; how you liked the projects, any questions you may have, or suggestions for future projects or changing things up. All golden! 🙂
Today I'm going to share a card with you that I made as Thank You cards for my wonderful customers – I thought it was appropriate, as I'm thanking you today, too!
This stamp set is going to be featured in our next Creation Station Blog Tour on July 20th, so this is a little preview for you – though of course, I'll be making different projects, not repeating this one.
As you can see, the Flower Patch stamp set (available only in Photopolymer) has an incredible range of flowers that you can stamp singly, or use the 2 step stamping, and you can mix & match the flower pieces! If that's not great enough – it comes with the matching Flower Fair Framelits Dies! No fussy cutting – now that is a bonus for anyone who is short on time, or needs to make multiple cards – or, just doesn't like fussy-cutting, no matter how great Stampin' Up!'s Paper Snips are!
So here are a few of the Thank You cards I put together;
Can you tell I'm still in love with the new 2014-16 In Colours?! The card base is Hello Honey, layered with Whisper White cardstock that has been run through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. Don't you just adore this sentiment?! I think it's so charming, and wonderful 🙂 The large large flowers are single stamped in Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey, with the centres inked in Tangelo Twist. I also used Blackberry Bliss for the smaller flower. The leave shapes were first stamped in Pear Pizzaz, then I used the 2 step stamp technique to add the leaf outlines in Mossy Meadow. With the stamps being Photopolymer (meaning clear that you can see-through), I didn't even have to use my Stamp-a-ma-jig!
Hopefully you can see in this close-up picture how the layers go together beautifully; I even coloured the Large Rhinestone with the Hello Honey Marker!
You can see that I didn't use any Designer Series Paper on these cards – that's because I'm taking advantage of this month's BUY 3, GET 1 FREE from Stampin' Up!
That's right – order 3 packs of Designer Series Paper, and get the 4th one FREE! To place your order direct, just click on the picture (above) and you'll be taken directly to my on-line store!
