Hello, and welcome back to another Watercooler Wednesday challenge!

First, I want to say ‘thank you’ for joining in my hosted challenge ‘All Boxed Up’ last week; there were incredible entries, and new boxes that I want to try making!  It was a tough decision to choose 1 winner,  because they were all wonderful.

This week is Libby’s challenge, which is a colour challenge, using 3 or more of the retiring In Colours – Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist.

I managed to use all of the colours in my card – take a look:

I used my Balloon Punch, the Party with Cake and Balloon Celebration stamp sets, and the Confetti Embossing Folder!

I started by embossing my 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Whisper White cardstock with the Confetti embossing folder (first time I’ve used it!).  I then used my Sponge Daubers with Blackberry Bliss and Tangelo Twist ink pads to sponge colour on top of the embossing.

The sentiment from Party with Cake was stamped in Lost Lagoon ink in the center of the embossing.  I then stamped the balloons from the Balloon Celebration stamp set in Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist and Hello Honey, the punched them using the Balloon Punch.  I added some of the retired Silver Cording Trim to each balloon, and, then added them to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I then attached this panel to my Tangelo Twist card base.

This side-angle picture shows how the balloons look like they’re floating:

Of course, you can’t have a dull, blank inside for such a fun card –

I stamped the confetti from the Party with Cake set in Lost Lagoon and Tangelo Twist, as with the sentiment, and then added a couple more balloons.

A very festive card, if I do say so myself!  🙂

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my card – please do check out the rest of the Watercooler Artist’s designs at the Watercooler Wednesday page, then link up your own card, to say good-bye to these In Colours!

Until next time – happy stamping!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

  1. What a delightful festive birthday card Deb….inside and out! I haven’t used my Confetti EF or Balloon Punch yet, so this is a good incentive to get them out. Thanks for sharing your festive and fun card.

    1. Thank you, Penny! I couldn’t believe that it was the first time I had used the Confetti EF, either! You’re going to love the balloon punch – such fun, and easy to use! 🙂 Thanks for the lovely comment, my friend!
