Hello my stamping friends!

Today is Tuesday, so that means I have lots of information to share with you.  Why on a Tuesday, you ask?  Well, because this is the day that Stampin’ Up! releases their news update to us demonstrators, so that we can pass along the pertinent info to you all at once; hopefully reducing the amount of emails, etc. for you to read.

Hopefully you don’t feel that this is too much information at once; I do try to keep it brief  and relevant, but please let me know if you’d prefer the updates in smaller, more ‘bite-sized’ pieces.

Weekly Deals:

SU weekly deals mar 10

As always, these fabulous deals are for 1 week only; starting today, March 10th and running through next Monday, March 16th.  You can combine these special deals with your regular order, including products from the Annual and Occasions catalogues, and the Clearance Rack.

Stampin’ Up! has just released this super-cute photopolymer stamp set – it’s called ‘Just Kidding’, and I think it’s perfect for sending cards to your friends!

SU just kidding new photopolymer set

How cute is this?!  I know several people who will love receiving cards with these silly sentiments 🙂  At only $19.95 for 15 stamps, this is an incredible price deal, too!

Here is a sample card, made by the SU! design team to showcase this new set:

This just makes me giggle!  I’m adding this set to my next order – how about you?

Blendabilities  Markers Update:

As you may be aware, there have been manufacturing concerns with the Blendabilities Markers.  (these markers are made by an outside manufacturer, not by Stampin’ Up!).  Stampin’ Up! has identified an issue with the assembly of the markers that sometimes causes very small holes where the nib attaches to the markers.  This may not seem like a big problem, but these holes can cause the alcohol mix in the markers to evaporate.  This problem does not effect every marker, but the percentage is not within Stampin’ Up!s tolerance range.

While SU! has made every attempt  to work with the manufacturer in dealing with the quality issues, SU! has identified that this is a problem that has no quick solution.  Rather than have you, our customer, possibly receive faulty product, the following decision has been made.

Stampin’ Up! has made the difficult decision to discontinue the sale of the Blendabilities markers, and will no longer carry or sell them.  Of course, Stampin’ Up! is committed to customer satisfaction, and is offering the following remedies:

– If you have placed an order for Blendabilities, and they are on back-order, you will be contacted and offered a refund.   If your Blendabilities are on back-order, as part of your Sale-a-bration free item, you may choose a different item from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.

– If you have received an order of Blendabilities within the last 90 days, and are experiencing problems with them, please contact your demonstrator or Stampin’ Up! directly for how to proceed.  Remember – we are  committed to customer satisfaction, and will do what we can to make things right.  If you have been using your Blendabilities within the last 90 days,  and they are starting to dry up, remember that this will happen with normal use.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me/your demonstrator, or the Stampin’ Up! office.

– If you have just taken receipt of an order of Blendabilities, please try them out right away, and report any that you have received that are already dry.  This issue does not affect every Blendabilities marker; only some.  Report any problems right away.

If you’d like to contact Stampin’ Up! directly, the customer service number is 1-800-782-6787 or email ds@stampinup.com

Stampin’ Up! is aware that you, as well as many, many demonstrators have been enjoying using the Blendabilities alcohol markers, and they are committed to finding another solution, or manufacturer, so that they may offer this type of marker.

In the meantime, using our own Stampin’ Write Markers, our Classic inks with Blender Pens, and Aqua Painters are all still great alternatives to the alcohol markers, and produce wonderful results.

I enjoyed using the Blendabilities as an alternative, but I also love using our other products as well to colour and create.  I’d be happy to show you how – leave me a comment if you’re interested in having a session on colouring! 🙂

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or would like to place an order!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
