Hello there, my Stamping Friends!

As Winnie the Pooh would say (or was it Owl who said it first?) “it’s a blustery day” out there!  Actually, it’s been a wet & blustery week here on the West Coast – which I affectionately call ‘the West Coast’.  There’s a reason why we have such greenery year-round; and it’s name is rain! 🙂

I want to share with you this week’s Weekly Deals – they’re on special price from now until next Monday, November 3rd. (*ack!* it’s almost November!!!)

This image is absolutely gorgeous when coloured in with our amazing Blendabilities Markers; try stamping on Vellum Paper or Window Sheet, then colouring from behind for a perfect stained glass effect.  Or, simply stamp and heat emboss in silver or gold embossing powder – the image is powerful enough to stand on it’s own.

At only $19.95 for this 4 stamp photopolymer set, it’s a deal you can’t pass up – this will be a set you’ll be using for years to come!  Simply click on the ‘Order Online’ box, and enter item #139523.

Now, as promised – I’d like to share some more of the fun we had at my last week’s Creative Craft Escape!  This fun event was held jointly with one of my downline, Debbie P., and we had a blast!  The ladies all declared that they had a great time, and asked when the next event will be held?!  That’s gotta be a good thing, right?! 🙂

Of course when you have an event like this, you want to document it, by taking pictures.  So of course we have pictures – but, we also have PICTURES! 🙂

I had seen this fun idea done at Stampin’ Up! demonstrator get-togethers, and thought it would be so much fun!  So, I made a larger-than-life picture frame, got some funny photo props, and let everyone go to it!  Look at what came of our fun:

Unfortunately, not everyone got their picture taken, as everyone was excited to get started on their crafting!

Here are some of the ladies, concentrating on putting their cards together 🙂

We knew that we wanted to spoil our guests, and give away lots of prizes; so we had to come up with a way that was different…..  So I came up with this idea!  You’ll notice that everyone is wearing a name tag….well, I stamped the tags in different In Colours, and when we made the tags for the prizes, we stamped them using the same colours.  When it came time to do our ‘Prize Patrol’ – whoever had the name tag colour that matched the prize tag – got that prize! 🙂  It was a fun way to give out the prizes, as no one knew who would be next – and of course, we made sure that everyone went home with a prize! 🙂

Here’s some of the ladies with their prizes:

We even used Christmas gift wrap for the prizes! 🙂

I forgot to take pictures of all the yummy food & beverages we had (the house smelled wonderful – we made Mulled Apple Cider!), so you’ll have to take my word for it.

Well, I have a couple more pictures to share, but I think I’ll save them for the next post!  I hope you’ve made it this far, with me!

Until next time – Happy Stamping!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
