CHALLENGES & CONTESTS
Do you love to watercolour? Did you know that July is officially Watercolour Month? It’s true! And to celebrate all things watercolour, there is a great challenge, and a contest, happening.
If you’re in the U.S., you can join the Blick ‘Make A Splash’ Watercolour Challenge. It’s open to residents of the U.S. 18 years and older – CLICK HERE to read the rules, and the amazing prize pack!
If you’re up for a challenge, how about joining the Doodlewash World Watercolour Month challenge? All you have to do to join is create a project – big or small, whether you’re a beginner or a pro – post it on social media using the #worldwatercolormonth (yes – it’s U.S. spelling!). You can also check out the daily prompts, and posts by real artists, on the Doodlewash website. It’s all in good fun, and to raise money for the Dreaming Zebra Foundation, a charity providing support so that children and young adults are given an equal opportunity to explore and develop their creativity in the arts.
