What's New With You?

Hey there, stamping friend! I hope you’re having a good Monday (which is when I’m posting this), and you had a good weekend. I did, but I didn’t really get a lot done, stamping-wise. I got my project done for this coming Wednesday Paper Craft Crew challenge. But not a lot else! So I thought I’d share what I’ve been up to, and ask what’s new with you?

What's New With You?

In case you missed Saturday’s post – I don’t usually post on a Saturday – I added another affiliate store! Not only that, but I’ve added another one since then! LOL I guess I have been kind of busy! On Saturday, I told you about Studio Katia, a fabulous company that produces their own stamp sets, dies and embellishments. They also carry the ‘basics’ like blocks, adhesives, etc. as well as some inks. You can read all about them in THIS POST. Studio Katia is another Canadian based company. Being Canadian myself, and living here, I do like to support ‘local’ businesses.

Having said that, I know that a lot of my readers are not living in Canada – so I like to offer options, with companies located in the U.S.  I’ve just joined Scrapbookpal.com as affiliate; they’re located in Utah, U.S.

Scrapbookpal is a larger retailer of numerous different brands, many well known such as Copic, Nuvo, Scor-pal, Tim Holtz, Lawn Fawn, Gina K., and many more! They also offer specials and coupons regularly on their Facebook page, so you might want to follow them there!

To see the other companies I have affiliate links with, just click on the ‘Where I Shop‘ tab in the top menu bar on this page.

I love different colouring mediums, and have been wanting a nice set of coloured pencils for a while now. So – I decided to treat myself to a set of Faber-Castelle Polychromos pencils, set of 36.  Take a look – they just arrived Sunday afternoon!

What's New With You?

What a gorgeous sight! Have you seen anything more beautiful?! *sigh* Of course, I had to get some ‘proper’ paper to practice my colouring with, but you know I’ll be using them mostly for colouring in stamped images. I know my limits – drawing is just beyond my limit! (at least, for anything I would share).  So yes-  you’ll be seeing some more coloured images from me in the near future 🙂

I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to, or are working on now! Maybe you’ve just started a new crafty venture, or are trying out a new medium, or technique? I’d love to hear about it. Just leave a comment on this post – I’ll read it, and answer back!

Thanks for hanging out with me for a bit today! Now it’s back to the work table – which for the most part, is my happy place! Unless I get a creative block – which does happen. But with my new Polychromos to play with, I think I’ll be good for a while. 🙂

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

    1. Thanks, Buffy! I love these new pencils – now I just need some lessons on how to make the best of them LOL! Nothing like quality tools to show how badly one needs training…

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
