What's Your Pet Peeve?

I have to ask, because it’s been ‘one of those weeks’ for me – and as I’m writing this, it’s only Wednesday! What’s your pet peeve? Mine currently is that my back is going out more than I do! Every few months, I’ll be doing something that I normally do every single day, and then BOOM! A flash of searing pain, and I’m almost on the floor. What was I doing? Bending over to towel dry my hair. I do this 7 days a week, people!  And in this COVID-19 world, my doctor is holding ‘telephone appointments’. Well, not much someone can do for a bad back over the phone….so, life goes on in a very stilted manner for the next few days.

Since I’m not doing much creative today, I went looking for some fun videos to share with you. Rina K., who is Gina K.’s daughter, has this awesome new reverse rainbow stencil technique. She uses her Electro Pop colours, which really do ‘pop’!  Have a watch below.

How fun does that look?! And those colours! I don’t have any myself, but I’m really tempted now to ‘add to cart’!  You can shop the Stencils HERE and the Electro Pop inks HERE ,  at the Gina K. online store.

Staying with the backgrounds theme, check out these amazing backgrounds and layering stamp sets from Hero Arts. Yana Smakula shares her ‘shoe shine’ technique for applying ink.

I just love these HeroScapes stamps, and these are no exception! You can find them HERE in the Hero Arts store, and the inks are HERE.

If you’re looking for some more retails therapy, here’s your answer! Right now ALL stamping supplies & accessories are ON SALE 15% – 50% OFF at Scrapbook.com!

I hope that your pet peeve doesn’t bother you today! And I  hope that you’ll enjoy these fun technique videos. If you have a favourite YouTube channel, feel free to share it with me! Now, I’m going to lay down & hope that my back will fix itself! (hey,  a girl can dream!).

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)
