Welcome back to another challenge with the Watercooler Wednesday Artists!

You totally rocked last week’s challenge – I just loved seeing all of the gold and silver shine and bling – just fabulous!

This week Marsha is hosting, and she has a Clean & Simple challenge with the theme ‘ Make it with Hearts’:

Note that due to the Christmas holidays, this will be a 2 week challenge – so you have until January 2nd to link up your card for the challenge.  So relax, enjoy your festivities, and then link up your card!

I decided to show a little sneak peek of some new products that will be available on January 4th – from the upcoming Occasions Catalogue:

The Soft Sky and Sahara Sand cardstock colours are current, but here you can see a glimpse of the So in Love stamp set, the So Detailed Thinlits Dies, and the Sealed with Love stamp set!

I started out by stamping the shape outline from the So in Love stamp set in Sahara Sand, and the stamped the sentiment inside of it, also from this stamp set, in Sahara Sand ink as well.  I stamped directly onto the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper, which is just gorgeous – you really will fall in love with it!

I then used my Big Shot and the So Detailed Thinlits Dies to die cut this gorgeous banner shape; I used the retired Curvy Corner Trio Punch to create the slits on each end, and threaded the Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Trim through each end, and attached it to the Sahara Sand cardstock panel using Tear & Tape.  After attaching it, I added a small knot on each end, covering the slits.

I used the Sealed with Love stamp set to stamp the swirly border on the top & bottom of the Sahara Sand panel, and sponged the edges using a Sponge Dauber and Crumb Cake ink pad.  I then added some of the Enamel Shapes Subtles – the little hearts coordinated perfectly!

Finally, I attached the card front to the card base of Soft Sky cardstock.  On the inside, I added a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, and stamped the sentiment in Sahara Sand ink, from the Sealed with Love stamp set.

The little heart border at the top is also from the Sealed with Love stamp set; another set you’re going to love!

So that’s it for my card; please be sure to check out the cards by the rest of the Watercooler Artists – just click over to the Watercooler Challenges blog page, have a peek, then link up your own card.

In case I don’t see you back here beforehand – I’d like to wish you a very Merry Christmas, and all the best for 2017.

Until next time – happy stamping!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
