YOU’VE GOT STYLE
I just received a wonderful birthday card from my friend and demonstrator, Buffy Cooper! I love receiving cards whether they’re early, late or on time – or if they’re for no reason at all. For this fun card, Buffy used the You’ve Got Style stamp set. It’s in the Annual catalogue, and for sending cards to your girlfriends, it’s perfect!
BUBBLY & BLING
I love how this lady is dressed ‘to the nines’, as we used to say (do we still say that? I do!), with a glass of bubbly in her hand. That’s SO me! 🙂 I usually save the champagne for New Year’s, but I won’t say no if offered a glass *wink*.
Doesn’t she look fabulous?! Buffy does an amazing job with her colouring; I’m going to guess that she used the Stampin’ Blends Markers. In the bottom right corner, you can see the beautiful Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets. But you have to take a look at this picture below, to see the real bling!
Look at all the sparkle! Not just for the earrings and bubbles, but you can also see a glimmer in the glasses! (I do wear glasses for reading). I’m guessing again, but I think what Buffy did was add some glue from the Fine Tip Glue pen over the areas where she wanted the sparkle, and then sprinkled on some Dazzling Diamonds glitter. It’s awesome – just makes me smile!
A FANCY FOLD, TOO!
Buffy went all out – I feel so special! Not only did I get the bling & shine, but a fancy fold, as well. When you open the front flap with the fancy lady, this is what you see.
Both the sentiment and the cat are also from the You’ve Got Style stamp set. I’ve always had cats, until I had my boys. Everyone here, except me, is highly allergic to cats 🙁
The beautiful paper Buffy used is the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper; it has a lovely pearlized finish. I’d show you the very inside, but it has a personal message, so I won’t share.
Thank you, Buffy, for the wonderful card! I feel very special, and grateful for our friendship.
Deb this is so darn cute. Love your coloring and sparkle
Thanks, Jackie, but I can’t take credit! This was Buffy’s card to me – her beautiful handiwork 🙂
